Theory of Knowledge

TOK, which stands for theory of knowledge, is a class that focused on the mere questioning of how and why things are they way they are. This is done through the learning of different areas of knowledge, as well as ways of knowing. Although I found this class highly philosophical, I enjoyed the topics we dived into, until I was left with a never ending explanation of what is knowledge, and ended up lost again. Nonetheless, this class allowed me to grow in my analytical, imaginative, questioning, and research skills; as these were essential for the course.

TOK Essay

For my TOK Essay, I discussed the prompt of ""Accepting knowledge claims always involves an element of trust" Discuss the claim with reference to two areas of knowledge". In it, I referenced the areas of knowledge of History and Religion, as well as diving into the historical events of the Princess of Wales and the Religious event of the Lourdes waterfall in France.
